CDC lowers COVID19 travel advisory level for Rwanda

  • The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Monday March7, 2022 lowered its travel advisory for Rwanda to level one.
  • Rwanda was lowered from Level 2 to Level 1, indicating a low level of COVID-19
  • This means to exercise normal precautions of Covid-19 in the country.

60% of the total population of Rwanda is fully vaccinated against COVID19. Efforts of Vaccination in Rwanda continue.

Rwanda’s successful efforts to contain the virus since its outbreak in 2020 relied on a properly coordinated and multi-sectoral approach.
