Saturday, January 7,The Ambassador of Rwanda to the United States, Mathilde Mukantabana joined the Rwandan community in Northern California to celebrate the new year. 

The event was attended by people of all ages including Rwandan young professionals from the Silicon Valley/Bay area.

The Ambassador reminded the community that they are representatives of Rwanda in their respective workplaces.

She pledged support to those looking to contribute to the development of Rwanda. 

She expressed her gratitude to the community for their support throughout the year, and for their contributions to their home country. 

The event provided an opportunity for attendees to discuss matters related to Rwanda’s socio-economic development.
