The Embassy of Rwanda in Washington D.C. is pleased to announce the forthcoming extension of its biometric capture services toPortland, Maine on Saturday, May 27, 2023.It will take place on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The Consular Department will provide this service only to e-Passport and ID applicants who have obtained biometrics capture approval from the Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration of Rwanda (DGIE).

Rwandans living in Portland, Maine, and surrounding areas and anyone planning to be in the area on the date mentioned above can apply for their e-Passport or Rwandan ID through  www.irembo.gov.rw  and follow the guidelines.
