Rwanda Tourism Showcased at TravMedia Summit in NYC

The TravMedia Summit, which took place on January 25 and 26 in New York City as part of the TravMedia International Media Marketplace, provided a platform for Rwanda to showcase its unique Tourism offerings.

The event was hosted at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre in west Manhattan and brought together hundreds of media and travel industry representatives, including destination marketing organizations, cruise companies, hotels, and more.

The commercial attaché at the Embassy of Rwanda in Washington D.C., Ms. Setti Solomon, discussed Rwanda’s tourism offerings, including its efforts towards sustainable tourism and why the country offers much more than just ecotourism

In addition, the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) recently announced Rwanda as the host country for next year’s Global Summit, further solidifying the country’s role as a leader in the industry.

Rwanda is a safe and progressive country that places both local communities and travelers at the center of its sustainable tourism strategy.

As the host of next year’s WTTC Global Summit, Rwanda is poised to play a significant role in shaping the future of the travel and tourism industry.

This exciting development, combined with the positive attention generated at the TravMedia Summit, solidifies Rwanda’s position as a top destination for sustainable tourism.
